Demand Congress pass the Equality Act!

No LGBTQ American should face discrimination simply because of who they are or who they love, but it’s still a daily occurrence for many. We are a long way from creating a country that truly fosters an equitable life for all who live there, but passing the Equality Act could be a monumental step. 

While the Democratic-led House technically passed the Equality Act years ago in 2019, the GOP-controlled Senate allowed the legislation to fall by the wayside. This is unacceptable, especially as waves of anti-LGBTQ legislation is passed through conservative state bodies with zero federal protections for one of our most marginalized communities.
