  1. Types of Information Collected
In order to better provide you with our numerous services, we collect two types of information about the users of our Platform (“Users”): Personally Identifiable Information and Nonpersonally Identifiable Information. Our primary goal in collecting information from you is to offer a better and more customized user experience, verify your identity on the Platform, and provide you with well-qualified opportunities to collaborate and communicate with other Users.

Personally Identifiable Information: This refers to information that lets us know the specifics of who you are. When you engage in certain activities on the Platform, such as registering for an Account and authenticating your registration with your YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook and/or Instagram account(s) (collectively, “Social Media Account(s)”), submitting content or information in discussion forums, making available or posting content or other information to your Profile (or other public areas of the Platform), filling out a survey, or sending us feedback, you may provide certain information about yourself and your Social Media Account(s). For example, you may provide us personal information, such as your first and last name, mailing address (including zip code), email address, telephone numbers, and other personal identifying information. In connection with your Social Media Account(s), you will also provide us with including without information relating to likes, views, comments, subscribers, and audience demographics. Depending upon the activity, some of the information we ask you to provide is identified as mandatory and some as voluntary. If you do not provide mandatory data with respect to a particular activity, you will not be able to engage in that activity. Where applicable, Personally identifiable Information may include “personal data” as defined in applicable law.

Nonpersonally Identifiable Information: This refers to information that does not by itself identify a specific individual; for example, we may gather certain information about you based upon where you use the Platform, or the type of mobile device you use to access the Platform. Additionally, when visiting the Site or reviewing our emails, we may store information about your “IP Address” and your interactions with our Site and/or our emails, i.e., through pixels or similar technologies.

  1. Collection Methods and Use of Information

We do not collect any Personally Identifiable Information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. You provide certain Personally Identifiable Information to us when you: (a) register for our services by authenticating your registration with your Social Media Account(s) and authorize us to obtain certain information from your Social Media Account(s); (b) send us email messages, submit forms, or transmit other information by telephone (or by other means) to us; or (c) submit your credit card or other payment information when sending or receiving payments through the Platform. We only obtain information from your Social Media Account(s) that you specifically authorize and grant us permission to obtain. We may also collect information from you at other points on the Platform which state that such information is being collected. In addition, we may also collect certain Nonpersonally Identifiable Information. We may use your device information or IP Address to diagnose problems with our servers, software, and to administer the Platform.

We will primarily use your Personally Identifiable Information to provide our services to you, as required by our agreements with you. We will also use Personally Identifiable Information and Nonpersonally Identifiable information to enhance the operation of our Site and our Platform, improve our marketing and promotional efforts, analyze Site and Platform use, improve our product and service offerings, and customize our Site and Platform content, layout, and services. We may collect and use Personally Identifiable Information and Nonpersonally Identifiable Information to deliver information to you, or to other Users about you (e.g., in your Profile) and to contact you regarding administrative notices. We may also use Personally Identifiable Information to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our agreements with you, including our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy.

You may opt-out from receiving email notifications from us which are for marketing or promotional purposes (by following the instructions made available on the Site, or within such emails), but you may not opt-out of our administrative, security, or similar notices; however, you may delete your Account with us at any time, after which time you will no longer receive any such notices from us. You may also revoke your consent or otherwise object to our processing of your Personally Identifiable Information at any time by deleting your Account through the “Settings” menu in our mobile application or by contacting us at info[at]atadvocacy.com and requesting that we delete your Account, provided, however, that this may limit your ability to use the Platform.

Additionally, you can revoke our access to your YouTube data via the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

  1. Release of Information

When you consent and agree to provide us with your Personally Identifiable Information and/or Nonpersonally Identifiable Information directly, we act as a “controller” of such information. We do not sell, trade, or rent your Personally Identifiable Information to others without your consent. We do provide some of our services through contractual arrangements with third-party service providers and/or subprocessors. We and our service providers and/or subprocessors will use your Personally Identifiable Information only to operate our Platform and to deliver our services to you, including without limitation domain and server hosting, website security, data analytics, information technology and infrastructure, technology maintenance, email deliverability, customer service, payment processing, and related critical services. Please review our atAdvocacy Subprocessors Page for a current list of our subprocessors.

Please note that in connection with your Personally Identifiable Information and Nonpersonally Identifiable Information shared with our third-party service providers and/or subprocessors, such information may be transferred to and stored in a country other than your country of residence, including without limitation the United States. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the manner in which such information may be shared and stored, please contact us at info[at]atadvocacy.com, or you may also opt-out completely by deleting your Account on the Platform. We will encourage our third-party service providers to adopt and post privacy policies. However, the use of your Personally Identifiable Information by our third-party service providers is governed by the privacy policies of those third-party service providers and is not subject to our complete control.

Occasionally we may be required by law enforcement or judicial authorities to provide Personally Identifiable Information to the appropriate governmental authorities. We will disclose Personally Identifiable Information upon receipt of a court order, subpoena, or to cooperate with a law enforcement investigation, or to protect the safety and integrity of our Site, Users of our Platform, the public, or other parties as deemed appropriate in our sole discretion. We fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying those who use our services for illegal activities. We reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we in good faith believe to be unlawful. You hereby consent to our sharing of your Personally Identifiable Information and Nonpersonally Identifiable Information under the particular circumstances set forth in this Section.
