Demand the Senate reject MAGA thug Markwayne Mullin for DHS chief!

Leave it to Donald Trump to find someone who is somehow even *less* qualified than Kristi Noem to replace her as head of Homeland Security. 

Trump has tapped Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin, a former MMA fighter and all-around knucklehead, to replace Noem at DHS, and his hearing made it very obvious just how bad a DHS chief he would be. 

When confronted by Rand Paul about his attempt to fight Teamsters President Sean O’Brien in a Senate hearing, Mullin tried to argue that there was “precedent” because “for instance, dueling with two consenting adults is still there,” to the absolute bewilderment of Paul, who was forced to inform him that “dueling has been illegal for 170 years!”

In questioning, Mullin declared that ICE should be left unaccountable by law, refused to answer how he would reform ICE, and refused to agree to restrictions on ICE’s behavior.

He also told Rand Paul that he understood why his neighbor beat him so badly he lost a third of his lung. 

Mullin has no college degree, no experience in national security, no experience in the military, no experience in counter-terrorism, and no law enforcement experience. He is being appointed because he is a thuggish caveman who is more than willing to use ICE to crack skulls and throw innocent people in the gulag – that’s why he’s being nominated.

We cannot allow him to be confirmed.
