On December 11th, Republicans in Indiana did something previously thought unthinkable: they stood up to Trump and refused to pass the new gerrymanders that he tried to bully them into passing. 

This show of defiance, coming on the heels of the rebellions by Congressmembers like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massie, show that Trump’s grip on the GOP is weakening — and it’s time for us to appeal to the moderate Republicans that do still exist across America to stand up against Trump and oppose his fascism.

Trump is reshaping our country in his own twisted image, dismantling our democracy and weaponizing our justice system while turning the White House into a corrupt influence-peddling and favor-mongering operation. Our First Amendment rights are under threat, his secret police are operating with impunity, and corporations are running roughshod over the American people. 

There are still Republicans out there who haven’t completely sold their soul to Trump. It’s time for them to take a stand, do the right thing, and oppose Trump and his goons wherever possible.
