Now that Donald Trump has actually been indicted, it's worth remembering the dangerous and seditious statements that his allies have made in the past — and they are still making it clear they will do whatever it takes to bully our nation into letting him walk.

On August 28th, 2022, Sen. Lindsey Graham warned on FOX News that there would be "riots in the streets" if Trump was indicted — which anyone who has followed American politics for more than a week knows is a clarion call for Trump's followers to go out and do just that.

It is beyond unacceptable for a sitting US Senator to use threats of political violence to protect a known criminal — especially since that violence would be on behalf of a would-be dictator who to this day demands the overturning of the 2020 election and promotes outrageous conspiracy theories undermining our democracy.

The far-right and its agents in elected office have already proven they are willing to use threats, harassment, and violence to get what they want. The Justice Department cannot sit idly by while they try to tear apart our democracy at the seams!
