Congress has been without a House Speaker for over 20 days now. The House GOP has put up and then tanked not one but TWO of their own speaker candidates ever since a faction of radicals kicked Speaker McCarthy out of the job.

Now there's a group of nine more bozos throwing their hats in the ring — and nothing to indicate that any of them will be able to win the job.

It's time for a grown-up to finally take charge. It's time for Speaker Jeffries. There's a crisis unfolding in the Middle East, a housing crisis to deal with at home, and a lot of extremely important work to be done.

We don't have time for Republicans to waste with their little popularity contests that probably won't even go anywhere! Democratic minority leader Hakeem Jeffries is the right man for the job, and we shouldn't have to wait until next November for him to become Speaker.
